Disney will soon release Inside Out 2.

Inside Out 2, a follow-up to the 2015 animated movie about emotions that gave audiences the feels, is now officially being produced by Disney's Pixar.

The news was made on Friday, September 9 during Disney's biennial conference, the D23 Expo.

In keeping with the original, the new movie will tell the tale of Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), a young girl who navigates life while carrying all of her emotions with her.

Audiences were enthralled by the first movie as Riley's emotions—Joy (Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Sadness (Phyllis Smith)—took control of her inner thoughts and sentiments.

However, a Vulture story states that Kaling and Hader aren't anticipated to return due to an alleged salary gap between Poehler and the rest of the ensemble.

According to the report, Poehler, who provides the voice of the lead character, received a $5 million offer "plus other fees and bonuses," while the other members of the main cast received an offer of just $100,000.
