Couple believes they had won $360 in lottery, but it was actually $360,000
A Lynnwood couple mistakenly thought their winning "Hit 5" ticket was only valued $360, but it was actually worth $360,000.
The winning ticket was purchased by the unnamed couple at a nearby supermarket. The husband returned to the shop after the drawing to see if he had won anything.

He attempted to claim his prize at the store since he believed he had only won $360.
The Fred Meyer employee advised him to go to the lottery office to pick up his win because it was too big to be cashed there.

The worker informed the man that the prize wasn't worth $360 but instead $360,000.

The employee was shocked and inquired if the man needed a chair.
He immediately said, "No! I must cash this now! and sprinted outside.
After accepting their award, the couple immediately wrote a $10,000 check to their son and daughter-in-law in honour of their upcoming first grandchild.
