Wales promised a challenge to Iran

DOHA: Wales midfielder Harry Wilson insists his team is determined to give their best performance against Iran.

Wilson said, Wales are aware of Iran who are desperate to get a win in the next meeting following the defeat to England 6-2.

“The decision is indeed difficult for them because England does not give an easy way.

“They will be careful with other teams and I think that is what we will see later. So it’s up to us to make sure Wales are at a good level to get the three points,” he said.

While England topped Group B with their opening game, Wales grabbed a point when they drew with the United States.

Wilson said, the goal from the team captain, Gareth Bale in the 82nd minute saved the team from defeat.

“He led us in a difficult match.

“Bale deserves to be on this stage for what he has done for the team over the years,” he said. – Agency/MESSENGER
