Two brothers died when their car crashed into a ditch in front of the fire station

IPOH: Two brothers died after the car they were riding in crashed into a ditch on Jalan Chemor-Jelapang in front of the Meru Raya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) here today.

The victims who died were the driver of a Honda Accord car, R. Dhaarnish, 29, and his younger brother, Shaamalen, 21.

Head of BBP Meru Raya Operations, Kosaidi Mohd. Saad said that information about the accident was received at 5.19am involving a car that had slid into a ditch.

He said, the inspection of personnel at the scene of the incident found that there were two victims stuck in the vehicle and were unconscious.

“An immediate operation was carried out to remove the two victims. The seriously injured victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers.

“The bodies of the two victims were handed over to the police for further action. The operation ended at 7.44 am,” he said. – MESSENGER
