The police denied the IGP’s involvement in the Amundi investment scheme

PETALING JAYA: Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) denied any involvement of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani in the investment scheme known as Amundi.

Malaysian Police Secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said that a police report has been made so that an investigation can be started on the irresponsible individual who disguised himself using the name of Acryl Sani.

“PDRM recently detected a group on the WhatsApp application promoting an investment and there was a profile impersonating Acryl Sani

“The individual used the phone number 010-2301160 and claimed that the KPN also participated in the investment scheme,” he said in a statement today.

Therefore, an investigation into the investment scheme is also underway.

“The public is advised to always be careful and not easily believe in such investment fraud schemes,” he said. – MESSENGER
