The location of the big screen was chosen without political considerations – Hannah

PETALING JAYA: The location of the big screen involving the action of the Harimau Malaya squad against Thailand last Saturday did not involve any political consideration.

The matter was explained by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hannah Yeoh in a post on Facebook last night.

“There is no political consideration in the location of the big screen. The proposal of this organization involves the broadcast rights license, finalized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on January 6 (notice in a short time).

“The states that work on January 6 (Friday) are ready and start working within 24 hours for immediate implementation,” he explained.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports previously prepared 14 big screens to broadcast the first semi-final of the AFF Cup across the country.

However, some parties disputed the initiative which was not provided in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah which are now governed by the opposition. – MESSENGER
