The heirs of a family of four who died in an accident received a grant

JASIN: The heirs of a fatal accident involving a family of four in Jalan Kolam, Machap, Alor Gajah near here received a grant amounting to more than RM212,000 from Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad.

Muhammad Izwan Ibrahim, 30, said the grant received was from the share of his late wife, Syazana Tharin, 30, as a policyholder who started contributing takaful a year ago.

According to him, Syazana suggested that they take takaful as a financial preparation for the heirs if something happens, but he did not think that he would be the one to go first.

“Alhamdulillah, when I was grieving, I and the other nominees received a considerable amount of money as financial aid. In addition to my brother-in-law, my two sons, Yusuf Daniel Muhammad Izwan and Aniq Fahim Muhammad Izwan, also received grants.

“As a trustee, my and Yusuf Daniel’s share will be given to Aniq Fahim because his brother has died. I will not use this money because it is completely for him.

“Maybe this is sustenance for the child because he lost his mother’s love since childhood. He now has strong financial resources to grow up and study,” he said when met at his residence in Kampung Pondok Batang here yesterday.

Earlier, Ikhlas Tijarah Sinergi Associate PLT (Iktisas) made a pilgrimage to Muhammad Izwan and his family and submitted a takaful claim amounting to RM212,238.06.

In the meantime, Chief Executive Officer of Iktisas, Syahrunizam Shahwan said, the takaful claim process for heirs through Takaful principal Ikhlas Family Berhad was successfully completed in less than two weeks.

He said, the grant is not only through the contribution of policy holders, but also involves the contribution of representatives of Iktisas and Takaful Ikhlas business partners to help the community.

“Syazana as a policy holder has ensured that her heirs receive sufficient grants. The youngest child was also given some compensation,” he said. – MESSENGER
