No political commitment is the reason why Jay Chou’s concert failed to be stopped – Bersatu

PETALING JAYA: Bersatu considers a lack of political commitment to be the cause of the failure to prevent preparations for Jay Chou’s World Tour Concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium (SNBJ).

Preparations for the concert caused 21,000 SNBJ seats to be vacated in the first semi-final match of the AFF Cup 2022 against Thailand, this Saturday.

The head of the Armada of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal said that the failure was very disappointing because the advantage of playing at home was very important in the clash.

In fact, he said, what was more sad was when the failure made the visiting team breathe a sigh of relief following the Taiwanese artist’s concert preventing more than 20,000 more Harimau Malaya supporters from attending and rocking their game.

“Thailand knows the strength of the 12th player of the Malayan Tigers which is ‘Ekor!’ What is the power, things are already done. No strong political commitment!

“If this coalition government of Pakatan Harapan (PH) can cancel the tender to save money, why cancel a concert that clearly does not have the support of the Malaysian people that clearly sabotages the struggle of the Harimau Malaya squad that carries the name and flag of Malaysia.

“Like other cases such as the tender, the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR), there is authority to do as promised in the formula and this was during the campaign! I want a thousand powers, I don’t want a thousand excuses!” he said in a post on Facebook.

The media previously reported that the Taiwanese star’s Facebook account was ‘attacked’ by supporters of the Harimau Malaya squad after his concert preparation issue affected the SNBJ seat.

Averages expressed their dissatisfaction after the celebrities who will hold their concert on January 15 caused them to fail to get the remaining tickets for the match, tomorrow night.

However, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh yesterday explained that the concert organizers of the artist’s world tour had booked SNBJ since 2019 to hold a concert before the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) did so on 18 August. – MESSENGER
