SEREMBAN: In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, Matrix Concepts Foundation came forward to donate to the elderly care center, Rumah Sejahtera Sikamat here.
Chairman of the Matrix Concepts Foundation, Datuk Nordin Mohd. Yatib said the donation of RM3,000 was his third donation to the charity.
“The Matrix Concepts Foundation celebrated a total of 12 seniors aged 67 and over at Rumah Sejahtera Sikamat in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
“This is the third time we have celebrated Chinese New Year together with the residents. The last time was before the Movement Control Order (MCO) was imposed in 2020,” he said when met by reporters at Rumah Sejahtera Sikamat, Sikamat here today.
Meanwhile, Nordin said that the Matrix Concepts Foundation has plans to work with local authorities (PBT) to prepare a holistic future development plan in this district that takes climate change factors into account.
“The impact of climate change is quite significant, flash floods often occur and we have an initial plan with PBT to create an integrated governance ecosystem.
“However, it is still in the discussion stage with the relevant parties and is expected to be held next June. It is the result of cooperation between us and PBT to solve the issue of flash floods and improve the ecosystem,” he said. – UTESAN.
