PETALING JAYA: Singer, Marsha Milan Londoh remembered her good friend, Nad Zainal when performing a song Back Bright at the Semi-Final of Muzik-Muzik 37 which took place at Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam, yesterday.
What’s more, he said, their relationship is very close and they say hello to each other because they are in the same WhatsApp group with some other artist friends.
He explained that the lyrics of the song that were delivered seem to be similar to the situation that the actor experienced, making him cry even more when he performed the song.
“The lyrics of this song are like expressing longing for someone. We are all looking forward to Nad to wake up and rise again.
“Marsha is still buzzing and reminds me of her because we have a WhatsApp group together. From the beginning we promised to meet because each of us was busy with work.
“When she saw the situation during the day, Marsha was very sad because we were really close,” he said.
Marsha is among the 12 finalists who made it to the top of the 37th Juara Lagu Awards which will take place at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil on February 12.
Song Back Bright is the creation of composers Senna and Ajin, while the lyrics are written by Ajin.
Sharing her experience while visiting Nad in the hospital, Marsha said, many other artist friends came and gave words of encouragement to the actor.
“Marsha had the opportunity to see Nad in the hospital and told him to be strong for the sake of the children. Although Marsha has not yet experienced being a mother, Marsha tears up when she sees her young children.
“We know that he actually listens and Ungku Ismail has ordered us to give words of encouragement to Nad to stay strong and rise again,” he explained.
Recently, Nad was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital due to a lung infection and had to be put to sleep.
