Malaysia urges an end to foreign intervention in Afghanistan

On January 4, 1980Utusan Malaysia reported that Malaysia called for an immediate end to foreign military intervention in Afghanistan to prevent the situation of the country from getting worse.

Malaysia claims, intervened foreign troops not only violate the principle respects the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan, but is also a threat to international peace.
