MAIPs Peduli cycling will be included in the program of the Ministry of Unity

KANGAR: The Ministry of National Unity intends to make the Cycling activities of the Perlis Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs (MAIPs) Peduli a framework to be included in the programs organized by the ministry.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Unity, Datuk Indera Noridah Abdul Rahim said that the cycling program is seen as a complete package in an effort to overcome the social deficit among the Malaysian community.

He said, the initiative through the implementation of the program could not only bridge the socio-economic gap among the people but also provide a deeper understanding of the aspects of racial diversity.

“For me this MAIPs Peduli Cycling is a big package that can help deal with the social deficit problem that undermines our unity.

“Through this cycling, many gaps can be bridged, for example the gap between leaders and the people, the economic gap through channeled aid as well as opportunities for various races to gather together,” he said.

He said this after accompanying the Deputy Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail in the MAIPs Peduli Bilangan 3rd 2023 Cycling Program here, yesterday.

Also participating in the cycling program were the Minister of National Unity, Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang; The Director General of the Malaysian Museum, Datuk Kamarul Bahrin A. Kassim and the Chief Executive Officer of MAIPs, Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor,

At the program, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin also agreed to deliver MAIPs donations worth RM700 each to three needy recipient homes.

In fact, His Majesty was also pleased to give a donation from Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra (YTSP) Perlis to a recipient of Siamese descent and listen to a briefing from several houses of worship in the local community including Perlis Baptist Church, Gurudwara Sahib Kangar, Sayur Kangar Temple and Arulmigu Arumugaswamy Dhevasthanam Temple.

In the meantime, Noridah said that she was also impressed by the initiative to implement the Kayuhan MAIPs Peduli program which was personally led by Tuanku Syed Faizuddin in caring for the people in need as well as mobilizing machinery consisting of department heads.

“Tuanku Syed Faizuddin’s efforts to bring the community to different houses of worship can help us better understand the diversity of religions and thus create respect for each other.

“Previously, the inter-racial unity program organized by the ministry was only like courting the multi-racial community, but in this two-hour cycling program, His Majesty not only courted the community but also mobilized the machinery involving department heads so that they could take immediate action to resolve the issues at hand,” he said. . –MESSENGER
