GWGF is optimistic that BN will win 50 out of 54 parliamentary seats in Felda

JERANTUT: The Felda Generation Vision Coalition (GWGF) is optimistic that Barisan Nasional (BN) will be able to win 50 of the 54 parliamentary seats in the Felda parliamentary constituency in the 15th General Election (GE-15), this Saturday.

GWGF president, Tan Sri Rozali Ismail said, the confidence is based on the response to the candidate is increasing and even the majority of Felda people have gone back to supporting BN after rejecting it in GE14.

According to him, in GE14, BN only won 27 parliamentary seats in the land area of the plan to decrease compared to 48 in the last GE13.

“My presence on the field at Felda shows across the country clearly found that the trend of support for BN candidates at the level of Parliament and the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) increased as a result of a factual campaign without promises and high hopes.

“Therefore, Felda people from the first, second and third generations of Felda, including new voters, need to give a solid vote to the BN candidate who is the hope of us Felda people,” he told reporters after launching the Strorm Rider Junior Motorcycle Club at the Pahang State Level at Felda Jengka 12 in here.

Rozali said the GWGF’s target is for BN to get a comfortable number of seats and be able to form its own government without alliances with other political parties.

He stressed that when a new government is formed and BN is dominant, it will facilitate all the development agendas that have been drawn up including to defend the Felda community throughout the country.

According to him, the GWGF took a firm and clear decision to support BN in this GE15 after taking into account the bad record of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government for 22 months which caused a lot of trouble for the people and the Felda settler community

He meanwhile appealed to more than 135,000 registered GWGF members from 317 planned lands involving 11 regions to vote for BN candidates thus contributing to the formation of a strong and strong government.

He said, the undivided support for BN also takes into account factors and the party’s past record in addition to the achievements made since independence until now.

“Don’t forget the services and sacrifices of UMNO and BN leaders in the government that created Felda and raised the dignity of its citizens on par with the modern society of this country,” he added.

Meanwhile, he said, the Storm Rider Junior Motorcycle Club, which now has more than 30,000 members, is a field for young people aged between 16 and 30 to practice safe driving.

“Each member is exposed to safe driving manners, road safety campaigns, prudent driving and traveling in convoys,” he said. – MESSENGER
