Domestic crisis: I will resolve it in the near future – Syamsul Yusof

KUALA LUMPUR: Acquiescing to his domestic turmoil, which has been talked about by many for the past six months, director and actor Syamsul Yusof, 38, will unravel all the issues in the near future.

Through a video sent on Instagram, last night, Syamsul, asked all parties to be patient and all explanations will be made to end the controversy from various angles.

Even so, Syamsul said, he will not take the same approach as his wife, Puteri Sarah, in solving the issue.

“For more than a year and a half, the story of our marriage and marriage has also been shared by my wife who shares a lot on social media, interviews, on television and so on about our personal lives.

“It’s time for me to speak up. I’ve been silent all this time because it’s a domestic matter, something in the cloth that is not sweet to share with outsiders.

“I’m tired and believe me, netizens are also tired of this story. The difference is, when I open my mouth, I won’t follow Sarah’s way. I don’t want to shame or embarrass anyone because I don’t think that’s appropriate,” he said.

In addition, Syamsul also admitted that all the taunts and insults he received due to family issues interfered to some extent with his work and filming of the ongoing Original Gangster movie.

“I accept whatever insults are thrown. For those who understand the situation and provide support not only to me, but also to my wife, I appreciate it.

“It’s just that, as a human being, I admit, all the insults and insults sometimes make my sleep time and work focus in producing the latest film also disturbed.

“I accept all of that because the most important thing is both parents, family, children, including all those who work for a living under my production,” he said.

In the meantime, Syamsul said, he accepted the fact that as a celebrity, all aspects of life will be the focus of public attention.

“As a celebrity, I am aware that all our behavior and life will continue to be the focus of many people. Not to mention, I was born in an artistic family, everything is attention. It was fate, I calmed down.

“Anyway, I ask all parties to be patient. I will unravel all this, God willing. Please all parties pray for the best,” he said.

On 22 December last, Syamsul revealed that he would take a RM10 million lawsuit against the Federal Territories Department of Islamic Religion (Jawi) for allegedly leaking defamatory personal information against him.

Before that, Puteri Sarah revealed that she had received many messages claiming that Syamsul was married to the son of veteran actor, Kazar Saisi, Ira, and asked her husband to come forward to explain the allegations.

Syamsul and Sarah got married on March 8, 2014 and as a result of their life sharing, they were blessed with two children, Syaikhul Islam, 5, and Summayah, 3 years old.
