LONDON: British Airways has introduced a new collection of uniforms for its staff for the first time in almost 20 years.

The uniforms, which will be launched in the spring, feature jumpsuit modern for female cabin crew.
The collection also features a selection of dresses, skirts and trousers for female staff.
The uniform also provides an alternative for male cabin crew who can choose a three-piece suit paired with stylish trousers slim fit or normal.
In addition, the airline also offers an optional tunic and hijab uniform for Muslim female cabin crew.
According to British Airways, Boateng took great care when creating the uniform collection, taking inspiration from the airline and its staff.
According to the company, the air wave pattern on the uniform collection including jackets, shirts and buttons is inspired by the movement of air over the wings of an aircraft.
British Airways said more than 1,500 staff across the airline took part in 50 workshops to help ensure garment fit, from design workshops to prototype feedback and garment trials.
According to the company, the workshops also help create iconic collections that will last for a long time.
He added that about 90 percent of the uniform collection is a mix of fabrics made from recycled polyester.
