Brazil school shooting death toll rises to four

BRASILIA: The death toll from shooting incidents at two schools in Brazil rose to four after the teacher who was injured in the incident died.

Authorities in the city of Aracruz in the state of Espirito Santo said a total of 10 people were injured, including three teachers and students in the incident that occurred last Friday.

The shooting suspect who was a former student at the first school he targeted opened fire on a group of teachers, killing two.

The suspect then went to a private school and shot dead a female student and injured several others.

After the two incidents, the suspect was arrested by the police and will be charged with murder.

The attack was the 12th involving schools in Brazil since 2002. – AFP
