MERSING: The former Kluang District Deputy Chief of Police, Superintendent Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani now assumes responsibility as Chief District Police The new Mersing comes into effect today.

Earlier, the Mersing District Police Chief and Mersing District Police Chief’s Ceremonial Ceremony was completed by Johor Police Chief, Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat at the Mersing District Police Headquarters (IPD).

Abdul Razak when met determined to focus on the approach and efforts to ensure public order, security is maintained so that the community will live in a safe condition

“In Mersing I saw a community-police approach where the police and the community are not separated. Most likely I will focus on good relations between the PDRM and the community,” he said.

According to him, Mersing has many differences with other districts such as Johor Bahru, Kulai, Kluang and Seri Alam.

“So I see our way of approaching the community is a platform for us to bond the police with the community.

“Through that approach is our opportunity to ensure Mersing is safer and the community feels that the police are always with them.

“At the same time, we will ensure that improvements are made to ensure that the Mersing police deliver professional, excellent and integrity services,” he said. – MESSENGER
