PETALING JAYA: A total of 30 passengers faced an anxious moment after the express bus they were on skidded and overturned at the Rawang Toll Plaza, North-South Expressway (PLUS), early this morning.
The director of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Selangor, Datuk Norazam Khamis said, his side received an emergency call at 1.06am and a machine from the Rawang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) went to the scene of the incident.
“When they arrived, the rescue team found a bus carrying 30 passengers crashed and overturned on the side of the highway.
“The victims involved 16 men, 12 women and two children. All of them survived while two were reported to be slightly injured,” he said in a statement today. – UMister
