20,000 people cheer Malam Cinta Rasul (MCR) 3.0

PETALING JAYA: A total of 20,000 people flooded the Malawati Stadium Shah Alam, near here to enliven the spiritual program Malam Cinta Rasul (MCR) 3.0 organized by the ACT Malaysia Welfare Organization to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2023.

MCR 3.0 which also involves the collaboration of Semboyan Malaysia features famous religious figures such as Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Al Hamid, Sheikh Abu Zaki Al Sangafuri, Wan Helmi Al Hafiz and several other prominent individuals.

Chairman of the Malaysian ACT Welfare Organization, Muhammad Fazil Mohd. Dali said, he was moved and grateful for the extraordinary response of the public and was even more happy when visitors came from all ages to fill the New Year’s Eve 2023 to commemorate the great leader of the Prophet Muhammad.

He said that New Year’s Eve was chosen to organize the program because there has never been a program like this which is usually filled with entertainment programs.

“It further encourages the young people to welcome the new year with more beneficial content while also taking the blessings of the scholars who can be a source of goodness in this world and the hereafter.

“The Malam Cinta Rasul 3.0 held this time is a continuation of the program that was first held in August 2022 at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang. Looking at the extraordinary response every time it is organized, I intend to organize it in an open area at Dataran Merdeka this year to allow more visitors to have the opportunity to attend this program,” he said in a statement today.

He said, it’s more gratifying when people start filling the event location as early as 2pm in order to follow various fillings such as Tausiyah, Qasidah and selawat.

“The highlight event started after the congregational Maghrib prayer with Tausiyah delivered by Sheikh Abu Zaki Al Sangafuri entitled the story of the death of Rasullullah followed by Tausiyah titled Rasulullah Rahmatan Lil Alamin before ending with the closing lecture by Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Al Hamid,” he said.

Meanwhile, Semboyan Malaysia Chairman, Yusuf Azmi expressed his gratitude for the unexpected response to this program and will continue to support its organization in the future.

According to him, even though Semboyan Malaysia is more focused on consumerism issues, he continues to support this program because it is a continuous preaching effort that brings many benefits, especially to the young people. – MESSENGER
